I read any book I can lay my hands on, the only exceptions being my course materials. Not a fan of a particular genre, I believe in trying everything once.

I estimate that I have bought about 100 copies of "The Collected Short Stories of Saki" in the last 30 years. The longest they ever stay with me is about a week ... then they get passed on to whomever I feel deserves them (or left on the bus, or in a cafe, with a note saying "Read Me"). However, there are one Saki story I have not read. I can't bring myself to read it ... then there would be nothing left ... and I couldn't bear that.

I wish your questions involved more than 'reading' books alone, eg.: looking at illustrations, bindings, watermarks, etc. What about association & provenance? There is more to books than reading them.
