Reading a book is as important as breathing, eating sleeping and other biological processes. I think human eyes were meant to see and look only and not made for reading. It is an artificial activity imposed on human beings by themselves. Yet it is the most fulfilling and equivalent to the biological activities, I've mentioned. It gives pleasure. It supports or even sustains memory. It gives solace. It makes you humble. It helps you to relate to fellow human beings, far and wide in time and space. If one has no vision one can't see-true ; and yet one can read through braille. It gives me identity like my name.
